We aim to develop new strategies for asymmetric synthesis, and use mechanistic insight to guide the process of discovering and improving new catalytic reactions.

Total Synthesis
Completed targets include prostaglandin analogue Tafluprost, the natural product isoanabasine, the antipsychotic preclamol and the recently approved anticancer agent Niraparib as well as fragrances phenoxanol and hyroxycitronellal.
