Interested in asymmetric catalysis and starting a PhD in Fall 2025? fantastic opportunity to join our group, or other groups in our EU Funded Doctoral Training Network: https://www.tu-chemnitz.de/cataloop

The Oxford / York CDT in sustainable chemical synthesis is taking applications. Please see the projects available in the CDT to join our group as a DPhil student: https://cshp-cdt.chem.ox.ac.uk

Steve was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and attended Mount Allison University and the University of Alberta before he was an NSERC of Canada Postdoctoral Fellow with Ben Feringa (Nobel Prize 2016, Groningen) and a research associate with Jonathan Clayden (Manchester). He is currently Professor of Chemistry at the University of Oxford and a Fellow in Chemistry at Keble College, Oxford. His research interests include asymmetric catalysis, the origins of life, and 'chemical machines'.
